Very nice

Well it worked ok & the gravy from Julias book was the best I have made. The dogs were upset there was not very much lefted for them. Next I think we will try  a fish dish

veau roulé avec prosciutto, de la sauge, pommes de terre sautées au beurre et sauge brun  or rolled veal with prosciutto, sage with  potatoes sauteed in butter and sage brown sauce. this is not a true Julie Childs receipe but an adaption of her cooking methods.. hope it works

l ' omelette brouillee

This is my first attempt at a olemlette , tasted nice . the instruction in Julia Child book were very helpful on how to mnage the pan. Over all happy with the result

Sauces

The first sauce I attempted from her book is  sauces brunes a brown sauce. this proved to be time consuming as it took 2 hours to simmer  but the taste was lovely. Will have to master degreasing but
