Well the house is sold & we are moving .So I have organized 2x 9 squares to applique thru the move. Now when my sewing area is set up in the new house I can construct the 2 quilts for my older granddaughter. They are same design but one will be more surrounds & the other green. This is the original
& this is my first 2 blocks I think they will be lovely but a big job
My next project will be for my youngest grandaughter , I have another project in mind for her if her mother likes it but that is packed away. Then it will be my turn for a quilt for my bed
Ok back to the applique
All about my Grandchildren
At the moment there are 2 granddaughters Lily & Olivia with another on the way :)

Preschool Outfits
Both of my Grand daughters have started pre school this last week so I made them special outfits from material that I brought at spotlight .I chose the fabric for Lily as she loves strawberries. Lily goes on a Friday & she loves it .They said she had settled phenomenally well & she was also very talkative .
Olivia goes on a Monday. She has to take more to her school including food so her bag was "to heavy" for her to carry .I chose her material because it was so pretty with the little school houses on it.She also has a second outfit in her bag the top is blue. She did a beautiful painting with orange paint today & never stopped talking when she came home , she loved it
Don't they look so cute

So Xmas is fast approaching. We had a early celebration with some fun crackers from the reject shop. There was a set of lips in one & the girls had heaps of fun with them.
My little girls Christmas outfits are completed & now to start on their preschool ones :)

One thing that I love about my granddaughters is the lovely comments that they make. Here are some favourits from my oldest Lily , she nearly 3
Cassie, Mum "Lily have you washed your face?"
Lily: "no I need a hmmmmm blue wipefacer!!"
Lily, in the bath: " No, this is my garden! Oh no, a snail! Gubby and Rosie! Gubby and Roooossssiiieee!!! This is my garden!"
Lily has been using a rolled up piece of paper as a treasure map. She walks through the house, stops, says "hmm now what way?", unrolls it and says "yay! That way!!"
Love you Lily

veau roulé avec prosciutto, de la sauge, pommes de terre sautées au beurre et sauge brun or rolled veal with prosciutto, sage with potatoes sauteed in butter and sage brown sauce. this is not a true Julie Childs receipe but an adaption of her cooking methods.. hope it works
